NuvoH2O Manor System

We have a large home and had been considering for some time switching to a whole house water softener system. Just like most these days, we are very budget conscious and so we did a lot of research before we purchased one. We didn’t want a big tank and wanted something that had the most up to date technology, and had to be salt free. Our town recently banned salt water softeners as they cause a lot of damage to the environment. Salt water systems tend to cause a lot of contamination in a towns waste water. On top of that, the older systems can waste up to 3 gallons of water while treating just 1 gallon of water. This is a terrible waste as worries about water in some areas are becoming critical. Best of all, even the cartridges are recyclable. We also had to have one that would accommodate a family of 6 people, yet have reasonable priced cartridges when replacement time came.

One thing we were really looking forward to, was the benefits of having one of these systems. We knew that hard water was damaging our pipes, and knew that if we didn’t do something they would one day have to be replaced. We were also tired of having to wipe all the hard water spots off of our dishes and glassware, especially if we were having company over for dinner. Another factor was our clothing and the damage that hard water was doing to them. They were turning gray and dingy, something our children constantly complained about. One of the nice things about the Manor Salt Free Water Softener by nuvoH2O is that it is only 14 pounds and the size is only 8″x29″. That is really compact. There is a 65,000 gallon capacity that is perfect for a family of six. There is also no need to install a by-pass loop as it comes with a built in bypass. This system should only need to have the cartridges replaced every six months. This was a real cost saver. One of the best things about this system is, that if you already have some corrosive buildup in your system, it will help to eliminate it completely, thus saving you from having to buy new appliances. For us this was a big part of our decision as we were switching in part due to the buildup in our pipes.

This system dissolves minerals using a system that has no harmful side effects and is approved by the FDA. This system uses a technology called chelation that will end the problems that hard water causes. It does not remove minerals, but changes them into a form that will do no damage and increases the effect of your soaps and cleaning products. Basically the minerals dissolve in your water and are rendered useless. Another part of our decision came after we calculated the amount of money we would save by using the nuvoH20 water softener. The savings to our appliances, clothing and energy consumption, along with a number of other things. This meant that in a year or two we would be saving enough that the system would actually pay for itself. Many soft water softener systems are estimated to last for only 10 years, but this system came with a lifetime guarantee. The benefits of this system far outweighed many of the others that we looked at. We highly recommend it to anyone considering a whole house soft water system.

Do you soften the water? Will my water hardness test reflect a decrease after treating my water with your system?

Ya know that is one thing I never did was ask for the hardness strips again to test. I am going to do that. They sent me a few strips and my water tested just about as hard as it can be, but I lost the other ones. I am curious to know now to. I know that the spots are no longer there and the water is smoother, but like I said I am not sure how it would reflect on the strip test. In the end it is the results of what I can see and there is a huge difference.
